gabe bondoc: One Touch

You probably know right now that I’m a huge fan of this guy.  Gabe Bondoc.  It all started from Enzo’s tweet about his (gabe) version of Take A Bow, and from there, I just discovered how amazing he is.

He is not just a typical youtube star who covers other artists’ songs… he is way talented than that.  He creates his own music.  He writes well, plays the guitar like no other (medyo OA), and he sings soooo freakin good.

Anyhoo.. so much with the intro..  Just wanna share you guys his original song.. I really, really love this song. Hope you’ll like it too.  Here’s One Touch.

Gabe Bondoc: When You Say (Nine)

I was surfing Youtube this early morning.. checking out some music videos of Stacie Orrico and some movie trailers, then I decided to check out my subscriptions. Went to Gabe Bondoc’s page (link) and saw his latest video. This time, he shared his original composition yet again, and I must say, this song is pretty amazing! It was well written, the melody is good, and his voice is absolutely the best. And lastly, the video is pretty clear this time. awesome.

Another Youtube Star

Last friday, Enzo of RX tweeted about this very amazing male version of Rihanna’s Take A Bow. I clicked the link and found this asian-looking guy singing not just a cover of Take A Bow, but actually singing his own “reply” version of the song.

His name is Gabe Bondoc. I was instantly amazed with his voice and talent in playing the guitar. Gabe Bondoc is popular indie pop/acoustic artist based in San Mateo, California. He is of full Filipino descent. He rose to fame with his One Take Sessions of famous songs and his own compositions in video blogging site, Youtube. (http://www.youtube.com/user/gabebondoc)

Since then, he has held a lot of shows across the West Coast. More so, he has already released two EPs, “Gentlemen Don’t” in 2006 and “Hi, My Name is Gabe” in 2007. (http://www.last.fm/music/Gabe+Bondoc/+wiki)
