Medyo addicted ako lately sa “I remember” ni Keyshia Cole… especially the version of Gabe Bondoc (fil-am youtube artist)… then I heard his own version of Rihanna’s Take A Bow, and na-amazed ako sa ginawa nya.. changing the lyrics into the guy’s perspective… so ayun.. na-inspire ako hehe.

So I tried writing (editing) a version of Keyshia Cole’s I Remember.. though lyrics lang to.. no mp3 version syempre haha!.. sabayan nyo nalang yung song and see if magmamatch yung lyrics sa melody

Got this poem from Ghindie’s (my HS classmate) short story. We don’t know the title of this poem though. She just saw this poem (or maybe this song) posted somewhere.

I love the poem. Very deep, emo, dark, full of angst. Whatta masterpiece! Here it is..

I decided na magbirthday leave for this special day of mine. Not because meron akong birthday party or something, but because I wanna to listen to RX the whole day! Haha.. yeah.. wala lang. Just wanna celebrate it with RX. Naks.

Last friday, Enzo of RX tweeted about this very amazing male version of Rihanna’s Take A Bow. I clicked the link and found this asian-looking guy singing not just a cover of Take A Bow, but actually singing his own “reply” version of the song.

His name is Gabe Bondoc. I was instantly amazed with his voice and talent in playing the guitar. Gabe Bondoc is popular indie pop/acoustic artist based in San Mateo, California. He is of full Filipino descent. He rose to fame with his One Take Sessions of famous songs and his own compositions in video blogging site, Youtube. (http://www.youtube.com/user/gabebondoc)

Since then, he has held a lot of shows across the West Coast. More so, he has already released two EPs, “Gentlemen Don’t” in 2006 and “Hi, My Name is Gabe” in 2007. (http://www.last.fm/music/Gabe+Bondoc/+wiki)

9 days from now, I’ll be celebrating my birthday again. Actually, hindi naman ako nagcecelebrate.. bihira.. walang party.. parang ordinary day lang.

And goal ko right now is to have a wonderful birthday celebration. Pero mukhang impossible yun this year. Nakakadepress kasi ang laman ng ATM ko Hahahaha.. ohwell..

So now, I planned to share to you guys the birthday greets na sinend ko sa radio. Kakaiba kasi yung feeling. At dahil adik ako, talagang niresearch ko pa talaga kung what year ako nagpagreet ahehe.

So, I actually started last 2006.  Wala pa akong codename that time. And I texted TMR to greet me in my birthday. Ayun nabasa naman. sobrang saya ko nun! at tinawag pa akong Oscar The Grouch ni Delle hehe

Nung 2007, hindi ako nakasend ng greetings. Saturday kasi nun. And Chico and Delle were celebrating Delle’s birthday, accepting calls from the listeners for their bday wish.  And that day was my first day to meet them!

By 2008, active rusher na ako. And kilala na ako nina Chico and Delle as Jhun13.  Marami na rin akong nakilalang rusher that time, kaya naman, nung birthday ko, nagexpect ako ng greetings! Hahaha. ayun. Check out the playlist below.

Kris Allen, the reigning American Idol, has a new single! Although the song is not so new, Live Like We’re Dying is an original song of the band The Script, which was included in the Japanese edition of their album The Script.

The song is beautifully written, very inspiring, and so apt for our situation right now.  I can say that Allen’s version of this song is much better, although it sounds a little similar with the original.

Can’t wait to hear it on RX! =)
